V&V Engineer

Ecoppia is looking for an experienced V&V engineer, who will be responsible for performing Verification and Validation (V&V) processes of Ecoppia robotic systems. 

The processes include testing according to the intended environment and product requirements, documenting and analyzing the test results, supporting field issues, and mentoring of other V&V team members, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for Ecoppia robotic systems
• Prepare tests reports, and release reports towards a release of a new product or feature to production/field 
• Define and develop the necessary infrastructure to perform the tests
• Collaborate with V&V Engineers, Systems Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers and Software Developers on tests definition and results analysis
• Mentor other V&V team members as necessary
• Propose and execute initiatives related to methodologies, facilities, tools and framework to support the products V&V and field interface
• Define and monitor field tests in collaboration with the field teams
• Support field teams on advanced product issues troubleshooting and Q&A
• Lead preliminary investigation of issues which come from the field (Reproduce, perform preliminary RCA, and collect data to support a solution definition by the responsible design engineer)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent related technical field 
• 3+ years hands on experience in in a multidisciplinary HW/SW product V&V
• Proficiency with defining the verification and validation plans, system test documents and reports (STD &STR) 
• Experience in defining and documenting system level tests 
• Excellent understanding of SW and HW development, testing and deployment cycle 
• Familiarity with test management and automation tools 
• Good Knowledge with lab Test Equipment  - Scope , Logger , DVM 
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Highly accurate and detail-oriented

Advantages

• Experience in leading a complete system V&V process, from start to finish
