Robotics Systems Engineer
Location: Bar-Lev , Israel
Ecoppia is looking for a leading Robotics Systems Engineer!
In this role, you will technically lead the multidisciplinary development effort of Ecoppia world-breaking solar panel cleaning robots.
You will be collaborating with all R&D disciplines such as Electronics, RT Embedded software, Mechanics, Communication, V&V, Field Engineering, as well as with company divisions outside R&D such as operations and marketing.

Responsibilities
- Define and document the robots’ functional and disciplinary top level requirements
- Examine different architectural design alternatives and lead design review
- Define and lead integration & testing efforts
- Plan, perform and document experiments for the purpose of testing new capabilities, technological risk reductions, and verification of adherence to various standards, including environmental conditions and EMC compliance
- Lead troubleshooting and provide solutions for design issues found during the integration process and in the field
- Be the “glue” of the Robot multidisciplinary development team effort, to successfully deliver innovative robotic solutions to the field
Requirements
- Relevant Engineering degree, preferably Electrical\Software Engineering
- Significant experience in the development of robots as a systems engineer is a must (5+ years)
- Good knowledge in the following fields: Control, Electromechanics and Motors, Communication, IoT, Navigation, Sensors, Algorithms development, RT Embedded Systems
- Very good at defining and documenting: system requirements, integration and testing, experiments
- Hands-on attitude
- Ability to work independently and lead other disciplines
Advantages

- Experience with RF communication
- Familiarity with common industry standards for EMC, Safety, Radiation, Environmental conditions, etc.
- Experience managing subcontractors in the development process
